Research Introduction

The Ubiquitous Communication Lab sponsored by the Haruyama Laboratory conducts research and development on various technologies needed in the future society.

Augmented reality using visible light communication

Research and development of a system that allows people to obtain the necessary information when and where you need it on the AR display of a smartphone

High-speed optical space communication between high-speed train and ground

In collaborative research with Japan Railways(JR), we conducted a demonstration experiment of an optical space communication system with a communication speed of 1 gigabits per second for Shinkansen.

Construction Civil Engineering i-Construction Development of 3D Position Measurement System

We have developed a technology to automatically measure the position of a bridge in millimeters when building a bridge. This showed that the cost of surveying can be reduced and the efficiency can be improved.

Various master research examples

Previously, the master of the Haruyama laboratory did research covering many disciplines

Analysis of temporal changes in interest of Japanese high school uniform fashion users in China A new method to take high resolution images of the earth from small satellites Agricultural education system aimed at improving agricultural productivity in developing countries-Aiming to spread SRI farming methods in Cambodia

Zhou Jiaxue, Master Research, 2017
We analyzed the change in user's interest in Japanese high school uniform fashion (JK fashion), which has been popular in China in recent years, by analyzing SNS data of Weibo.

Dao Quoc Dat, Master Research, 2017
The inventor has invented a technique of correcting image blur caused by a long exposure and taking a high-resolution photograph when taking a satellite photograph of a night region of the earth.

児島弘樹, Master Research, 2015
In order to improve the agricultural productivity of the low-income group suffering from poverty problems in rural areas of developing countries, we proposed an "agricultural education system" and made a prototype for verification.
